Sponsor
the team.
FIRST Tech Challenge runs on robot parts, electronics, a practice field, entry fees and travel. Sponsorship pays for them, as money or as store credit.
This season’s
budget.
£3,400to raise for 2026–27
- £3,000runs the season
- £4,500adds a full competition field
That is £3,000 for the season, and £400 carried over from last year. It pays for parts, electronics, entry fees and travel. A further £1,500 buys a full competition field, which both teams and the clubs would practise on.
Two teams,
one sponsorship.
Wilson’s School runs two FTC teams, and a sponsorship supports both. Wilsonic Boom is the junior team: 15 students aged 15–17, in our second season. Our senior team, Wilsobotics, has 18 students aged 16 to 18 and finished 5th at the European Premiers.
Between the two FTC teams, Junior Robotics and the three other clubs we run, that is 148 students a week, and more again through the events we take the robot to.
